Double Win at the Red Dot Design Concept Awards 2025

We’re proud to announce that two of our design concepts—Me. and Tidal—have been recognised with Red Dot Design Concept Awards 2025.

OUR WINNING CONCEPTS

Me. – Personalised Monitoring Device

Me. is an integrated care system designed to support women experiencing menopausal symptoms through a deeply user-centred design approach. Developed following extensive research and direct conversations with peri- and post-menopausal women, Me. responds to a clear need for personalised treatment and support.

The concept features a discreet wearable micro-needle patch with embedded sensors that enable continuous hormone monitoring. Paired with an intuitive app, Me. empowers users to better understand their symptoms and take targeted action—whether through medication, self-help, or lifestyle changes.

Designed with empathy and elegance, Me. balances comfort, function, and sustainability. Its discreet form factor allows it to be worn unobtrusively under clothing, while its packaging and components are environmentally conscious and easy to recycle.

Tidal – Personalised Assistive Technology Design Service

Tidal is a transformative approach to assistive technology, developed in collaboration with Swansea Bay University Health Board. Rooted in user-centred service design, Tidal places individuals at the heart of the design process—working closely with healthcare professionals to co-create solutions that are personalised, fit-for-purpose, and responsive to real-world needs.

Delivered through an online platform, Tidal enables users and healthcare professionals to co-design personalised assistive technology. It empowers users to shape the devices they rely on, improving satisfaction, usability, and long-term adoption.

The service model improves clinical outcomes and helps reduce premature equipment abandonment—a growing challenge in assistive technology provision.

“It’s fantastic to see our work recognised on a global stage. These awards are a testament to the strength of our user-centred design approach and the dedication of everyone involved.”
